2.0.1 气体灭火系统 gas extinguishing systems
    以气体为主要介质的灭火系统。
2.0.2 惰性气体灭火系统 inert gas extinguishing systems
    灭火剂为惰性气体的气体灭火系统。
2.0.3 卤代烷灭火系统 halocarbon extinguishing systems
    灭火剂为卤代烷的气体灭火系统。
2.0.4 高压二氧化碳灭火系统 high-pressure carbon dioxide extinguishing systems
    灭火剂在常温下储存的二氧化碳灭火系统。
2.0.5 低压二氧化碳灭火系统 low-pressure carbon dioxide extinguishing systems
    灭火剂在-18~-20℃低温下储存的二氧化碳灭火系统。
2.0.6 组合分配系统 combined distribution systems
    用一套灭火剂储存装置，保护两个介以上防护区域或保护对象的灭火系统。
2.0.7 单元独立系统 unit independent system
    用一套灭火剂储存装置，保护一个防护区域或保护对象的灭火系统。
2.0.8 预制灭火系统 pre-engineered systems
    按一定的应用条件，将灭火剂储存装置和喷放组件等预先设计、组装成套且具有联动控制功能的灭火系统。
2.0.9 柜式气体灭火装置 cabinet gas extinguishing equipment
    由气体灭火剂瓶组、管路、喷嘴、信号反馈部件、检漏部件、驱动部件、减压部件、火灾探测部件、控制器组成的能自动探测并实施灭火的柜式灭火装置。
2.0.10 热气溶胶灭火装置 condensed aerosol fire extinguishing device
    使气溶胶发生剂通过燃烧反应产生气溶胶灭火剂的装置。通常由引发器、气溶胶发生剂和发生器、冷却装置（剂）、反馈元件、外壳及与之配套的火灾探测装置和控制装置组成。
2.0.11 全淹没灭火系统 total flooding extinguishing systems
    在规定时间内，向防护区喷放设计规定用量的灭火剂，并使其均匀地充满整个防护区的灭火系统。
2.0.12 局部应用灭火系统 local application extinguishing systems
    向保护对象以设计喷射率直接喷射灭火剂，并持续一定时间的灭火系统。
2.0.13 防护区 protected area
    满足全淹没灭火系统要求的有限封闭空间。
2.0.14 保护对象 protected object
    被局部应用灭火系统保护的目的物。
